Mockups that featured political figures were a staple of The Late Show monologue. The writers would come up with some "interesting" visuals and our graphics producers would do an incredible job helping to find the exact image research to make everything come together. The intersection of the absurd and reality is where I liked to operate creating something that is clearly not real, but with a realistic quality. Call it, artisanal AI?
